Project-Based Learning Transforms Classroom into Real Design Battleground! BU Students Win Hearts of S&P Executives with Creative Masterpieces

 

School of Fine and Applied Arts, in collaboration with S&P Syndicate Public Company Limited (S&P), organized the "BLUECUP BRAND REVITALIZATION" competition to design mascots and logos for the BLUECUP brand through a Project-based Learning initiative. This competition was conducted as part of the ACI216 Design Concept course for second-year students in the Art and Design program at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.

 

 

The judging ceremony and award presentation for the BU x S&P project was attended by executive committee members from S&P Syndicate Public Company Limited, including Mr. Warit Silaon (Project Manager), Ms. Porntippa Sujaritgijpaisarn (Assistant Marketing Director), and Mr. Saran Ekarungrueang (Marketing Manager). Also present were executives from Bangkok University: Dr.Thirapon Wongsaardsakul (Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs ) and Asst. Prof.Tan Pitiyanuwat (Associate Dean, School of Fine and Applied Arts), who participated in the opening ceremony.

 

 

From 22 design works that advanced to the final round, 4 works received awards:

 

Ms. Palida Teeronvekhin - Winner of the First Prize

 

Ms. Apisara Chonsaktraku - First Runner-up 

 

Ms. Priyakorn Kaewmoon - Second Runner-up

 

Ms. Pimvipa Pongworakittikul - Honorable Mention
