BU partners with renowned Japanese hotels, guiding students towards international professional experiences

 

The Faculty of Humanities and Tourism Management and the Bangkok University International held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding with Hotel Nikko Bangkok and Hotel JAL City Bangkok on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

 

 

Associate Professor Dr. Aunya  Singhsangob, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Jongdej  Tipyamontree, Cluster Director of Human Resources, jointly signed in the ceremony. This memorandum of agreement will help enhance the collaboration in both academic and professional fields, providing opportunities for students in the hotel management program,  related service business programs including language courses to learn about culture, service styles, and hotel management from Japan, enhancing practical skills in hotel operations through real professional experience in the hotels.

School of Humanities and Tourism Management, in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru in Thailand, organized a "Cultural Culinary Activity: Peruvian Cuisine Presentation" as part of the course Spanish for Personnel in Tourism and Hospitality Industry — designed to develop foreign language skills alongside cultural learning, and to give students the opportunity to exchange perspectives in an international context.
