BU X Hilton Hotels & Resorts, a World-Class Hotel Chain, to Bridge Learning with the Hospitality Industry

 

Bangkok University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hilton Hotels & Resorts (Bangkok, Thailand), a world-class hotel chain, to connect academic education with the industry sector and develop students whose competencies align with international labor market demands. The partnership places emphasis on learning through hands-on practice alongside industry professionals, in order to prepare students for careers in global service businesses.

 

 

The signing ceremony was presided over by  Asst.Prof.Dr.Aunya Singsangob, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and K.Pattrika Pattaraprasit, General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok Riverside, as the signing representatives. In conjunction with the signing, the Hotel Management program organized the "Hotel DNA 2026: Alliance for Excellence" event, featuring a panel discussion on the topic of "Hotel DNA," through which executives from all 9 Hilton properties shared their perspectives and experiences. The event also focused on cultivating five essential attributes in students: Honesty, Organization, Teamwork, Emotional Intelligence, and Lifelong Learning.

 

 

The occasion concluded with a luncheon at BU Restaurant, fully supervised by Hotel Management students who designed and curated both the menu and the complete service experience. This demonstrated their capabilities in hotel management and their readiness for real-world professional practice.

 

 

This collaboration between Bangkok University and Hilton Hotels & Resorts (Bangkok, Thailand) represents yet another significant step forward in elevating the quality of Thai education to international standards, while nurturing graduates equipped with knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience — ready to compete and create value on the global stage with confidence.
