BUBUS Opens the Stage for Students to Drive PTG's Business with SDGs Thinking

School of Business Administration, Bangkok University reinforced its Practical University concept by creating real-world business learning through the "BUBUS: Powering Sustainable Growth for PTG Energy Across the Value Chain" project — a collaboration between the Departments of Management and Marketing and PTG Energy Public Co., Ltd. The project opened a platform for students to analyze, plan, and develop business strategies to address challenges in the energy and logistics industries.

Asst. Prof.Rapeepan Wongprasert, Associate Dean School of Business Administration, welcomed executives from PTG Energy and supported the hands-on learning activity — a cornerstone of developing graduates ready for the business world.

Amid volatile energy cost conditions, PTG Energy aims to develop PTG Logistics Co., Ltd. into one of Thailand's leading logistics companies within 2 years. Students were challenged to devise strategies, campaigns, and business development approaches that can create competitive advantage — while integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their business plans.

The project was embedded in the courses MK 335: Brand Management, MK 423: Business-to-Business Marketing, and MG 421: Seminar in Modern Business Management, supervised by Ajarn Yaowaluk Aekphitoon, Dr.Kittisorn Boonnark, and Dr.Chutimavadee Thongjeen — focusing on strategic thinking, business problem-solving, and collaboration in environments closely mirroring real workplaces.

The final presentation round was judged by Khun Komkrit Rajasuk, Director, and Khun Natee Sunipat, Senior Manager from PTG Energy Public Co., Ltd., who provided in-depth feedback from an industry executive perspective — giving students direct expert experience and a well-rounded understanding of real business challenges.

This project reflects the Faculty of Business Administration's commitment to connecting classroom learning with real business practice — empowering students to think critically, analyze, and present actionable solutions, while developing the future skills needed to become the next generation of business leaders who can create sustainable value for both organizations and society.
